Essence of ownership 2/29/24
She see's my essence inside her presence
Like the effervescent smell of love
Watching it (love) bloom and blossom
Amongst vermin and rodents
Bent on extinguishing as many human flames
As possible in one lifetime
Hoping even praying for reincarnation
So she can comeback and do more better
The 2nd time round
Planting seeds deep in the crevices and conclaves
Around the globe
Hoping to strike gold
She dances with wolves
Inside the concrete jungle
Wandering aimlessly not knowing
She has always been discretely providing her with immunity in the community
Or is it just one BIG charade
Preparing for the parade
Drumming naked in the reign of power, money, and guns;
Her fragile frame keeps me tame
Like a Lion walking in a cage
Ready to attempt her great escape
From the circus of bondage,
Tired of being someone's property…
